68023 pushes the 5Q86 13:52 Long Marston to Eastleigh ECS through Shipton station on 1 June 2026. At the front of the train, Mk5a driving trailer 12801 is just about to pass underneath the A361 Burford to Chipping Norton road. This was running more or less on time, but encountered a delay at Oxford when there was a TPWS fault, and the driver was unable to cancel the AWS. The train was put into Kennington Up Loop where the equipment was isolated. It then ran forward at 40mph to Didcot, where it was turned using the Didcot North Junction to Foxhall Junction curve.
