91004 brings up the rear of the diverted 1S11 09:00 York to Glasgow Central GNER service on 12 April 1998, as it negotiates the sharp curve through Hartlepool. There was just enough room at this location to include the whole train, including 47733 Eastern Star at the front of the train. Asda's car park and car wash is in the foreground, with Hartlepool United's Victoria Park football ground in the background. Clarence Road Signal Box can be seen near the rear of the train. This was demolished in 2010.
