B969 (54201 & 53621) rounds the sharp curve into Swindon station on 15 July 1989 with the 09:35 Gloucester to Swindon service. By this date most of the local trains on this route had gone over to Sprinter operation, with just a couple of services still diagrammed for heritage units.
