L428 (51408, 59518 & 51366) approaches Kingham station on 8 May 1987 with the 2A56 16:46 Hereford to Oxford service. It was almost a year after the introduction of Network SouthEast, with its colourful red, white and blue livery, but the majority of Class 117s on the Cotswold Line were still in the BR blue and grey colour scheme at this time, so this was definitely worth photographing. Of course within a couple of years they were all in this livery!
